No Property Tax in Denali Borough
The Denali Borough does not levy a property tax.
Per Denali Borough Charter Section 11.03 Property Tax, a property tax cannot be enacted unless it is approved by a majority vote of the borough's voters. To date, no such voter approval has occurred, and there is no current ordinance proposing a property tax vote.
Because the borough does not levy a property tax, property records are not maintained by the borough, including:
- Property values or appraisals
- Property ownership lookup tools or property databases
- Foreclosure listings
- Excess funds or surplus proceeds lists
