Wildland Fire Update
Fire managers assigned to the Starry Fire have determined that sufficient progress has been made on suppression efforts to recommend the removal of all evacuation statuses.
Evacuation
Status Update:
All evacuation statuses have been lifted for both the Starry Fire and the
Seventeenmile Fire. The City of Anderson and the North 40 evacuation zones are
no longer in evacuation status.
Fire crews will remain in the Anderson area for several more days to continue mitigation efforts and complete demobilization and cleanup activities.
This will be the final update unless conditions change.
