Antler Ridge Parking Lot

Antler Ridge (MP 245) Parking Area and Trail Enhancement

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF), the Alaska Division of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Denali Borough, and the National Park Service (NPS), and Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation (DPOR) have partnered to establish a new parking lot and trail access to Mt. Healy at Antler Ridge.

Parks Hwy- MP 231 Enhancement Project

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (ADOT&PF), the Alaska Division of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and Denali National Park Service are partnering to construct new pedestrian facilities, a rest area, and intersection improvements near the Denali National Park Boundary, MP 231 Parks Highway.

 

 

PEL Study

Parks Hwy- MP 203-259 Planning & Environmental Linkage (PEL) Study

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Western Federal Lands (WFL) and the National Park Service (NPS), are working together to identify potential future transportation and access improvements along the Parks Highway corridor (mileposts [MP] 203 and 259) between Cantwell and Healy.

The Cantwell to Healy PEL Study Report was finalized in early 2022 and is available to view online through the Alaska Dept. of Transportation & Public Facilities.
