RESOLUTION NO. 94-01

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 93-16 TO ADOPT

THE DETERMINATION OF POPULATION OF THE

DENALI BOROUGH AS OF JULY 1, 1993.

WHEREAS, the DENALI BOROUGH has conducted a census of the Borough population indicating the population of permanent residents of the Borough as of July 1, 1993;

AND WHEREAS, the governing body of the Borough must pass a resolution adopting the results of the census for use by the Department of Community and Regional Affairs;

AND WHEREAS, the Department of Community and Regional Affairs approved the City of Anderson's appeal of their population to be changed to 650 residents;

AND WHEREAS, the City of Anderson's population is part of the Borough population, so the population stated in Resolution 93-16 is now incorrect.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the governing body finds that on July 1, 1993, the population of permanent residents of the Borough was

2,077 .

PASSED and APPROVED by the DENALI BOROUGH ASSEMBLY this 8th day of January, 1994.
