ORDINANCE NO. 91-08

AN ORDINANCE TO ALLOW THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

ON ELECTION DAY.

Section 1. Classification.

This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature.

Section 2. General Provisions.

The Denali Borough by the provisions of AS 04.16.070(b) allows for the sale of alcoholic beverages within licensed premises on election day. This ordinance allows the sale of alcoholic beverages on election day.

Section 3. Application.

This ordinance applies to all areas within the Denali Borough outside the boundaries of any organized city in the borough.

Section 4. Effective Date.

This ordinance becomes effective upon approval by a majority vote of the voters in the next Borough wide general election.
