DENALI BOROUGH, ALASKA

RESOLUTION NO. 95-09

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PROPOSED TRANSPORTATION

INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE DENALI BOROUGH.

WHEREAS, The Assembly, is the governing body of the Denali Borough in Healy, Alaska and;

WHEREAS, The Assembly desires to provide and improve roads and the Denali Borough transportation infrastructure, and;

WHEREAS, The Denali Borough Assembly has suggested that the Department of Transportation (DOT) make improvements as follows:

1.) East/West passing lane off the Parks Highway beginning at Larry's Healy Service Station and ending at the Healy Chevron located at the south side of the community.

2.) Turn lane off the Parks Highway onto the Healy Spur Road.

3.) Slow truck lane or passing lane just before Otto Lake Road on the Parks Highway.

AND WHEREAS, the Denali Borough would like to stay informed of any future planning or opportunity to plan within Borough boundaries.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Denali Borough Assembly supports the above transportation modifications for the Denali Borough.

PASSED and APPROVED by the DENALI BOROUGH ASSEMBLY this 9th day of April, 1995.
