RESOLUTION NO. 94-19

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LAND USE PLANNING

COMMITTEE TO APPLY FOR A RURAL COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE

PROGRAM MINI-GRANT FOR COMPLETION OF THE DENALI

BOROUGH COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN.

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough Assembly has tasked the Land Use Planning Committee with the development of a Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the Denali Borough; and

WHEREAS, the Land Use Planning Committee would like to apply for a Rural Community Assistance Program;

WHEREAS, the Land Use Planning Committee would like to apply for the grant in the amount of $30,000, the balance remaining for the completion of the Plan.

AND WHEREAS, funds are available through grants, and if this grant is awarded to the Denali Borough for completion of the Plan, then the funds originally allotted for this project in the Borough's FY 1995 budget would be reappropriated.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Denali Borough Assembly authorizes the Land Use Planning Committee to apply for a mini-grant for completion of the Borough's Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

PASSED and APPROVED by the DENALI BOROUGH ASSEMBLY this 10th day of July, 1994.
