RESOLUTION NO. 93-04

A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FUNDING TO BE

MADE AVAILABLE FROM DENALI BOROUGH SOURCES FOR SCHOOL

PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH DENALI BOROUGH CODE OF

ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 30, SECTION 9.

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough assumed local education powers on July 2, 1992; and

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough Code of Ordinances, Chapter 30, Section 9 requires the Denali Borough School Board to submit the school budget for the following school year to the Borough Assembly by April 1 for approval of the total amount; and

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough School Board did indeed submit their school budget for fiscal year 1994 on March 31, 1992 which included a request of Denali Borough funds for the amount of $399,798;

AND WHEREAS, the Denali Borough Assembly is required to determine the total amount of money to be made available from local sources for school purposes within 30 days after receipt of the School District budget.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Denali Borough Assembly determines the total amount of Denali Borough funding for Denali Borough School District purposes to be $ 399,798 .
