RESOLUTION NO. 94-16

A RESOLUTION FORMALLY ACCEPTING THE MUNICIPAL CAPITAL PROJECT

MATCHING GRANT FOR THE FERRY COMMUNITY LAND PURCHASE.

WHEREAS, the State of Alaska, Department of Administration Municipal Capital Project Matching Grant application has been approved for the Ferry Community Land Purchase, grant number 94/541-9-001; and

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough Assembly desires the funding to assist the Ferry Community in the purchase of this land in order to gain legal access to their private property; and

WHEREAS, the State share of this project is $13,600 and the Local share is $2,400, to be paid by the Ferry Community Corporation;

AND WHEREAS, a resolution is required from the Denali Borough Assembly to accept this grant.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Denali Borough Assembly formally accepts this grant and its conditions as listed in the grant agreement and directs the Mayor to sign this agreement.

PASSED and APPROVED by the DENALI BOROUGH ASSEMBLY this 15th day of May, 1994.
