DENALI BOROUGH, ALASKA

ORDINANCE NO.   91-10 

 

 

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF AVAILABLE STATE

SHARED REVENUES TO COMMUNITIES WITHIN THE DENALI BOROUGH

FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED by the Assembly of the Denali Borough, Alaska that:

 

 

Section 1.  This is a non-code ordinance.

 

 

Section 2.   The Borough shall distribute from State Revenue Sharing and other funds, funds to eligible unincorporated communities and non-profit organizations.  Such amounts shall be included in the FY '93 annual budget adopted by the Assembly and no further appropriations therefore shall be necessary. 

 

 

Section 3.  The following organizations will be funded for FY '93 as specified below. 

 

 

Healy/Tri-Valley

Community of Cantwell, Inc.

Panguingue Creek Homeowners Association

McKinley Park Community Club

 

 11,920.00

 

Cantwell Volunteer Fire Department

McKinley Volunteer Fire Department

 

1,308.00

 

Anderson Volunteer Fire          Department

TOTAL FUNDING =

 

$ 56,264.00

 

Section 4.  The funds shall be transferred by the Borough Clerk to each eligible unincorporated community when State Revenue Sharing funds are received by the Borough.  Each organization shall be responsible for administering such funds; however, each organization shall submit to the Borough on or before September 1, 1993 an expenditure report from that year.  Further documentation may be requested by the Borough Mayor.  Each organization shall submit a request for funding and a budget for expenditures for these funds.  Also, each organization shall hold at least one public hearing in their respective community concerning their budget.  These funds are considered public funds and are subject to public record disclosure.

 

 

Section 5.  This ordinance shall apply to payments made in FY 1993 only.  Such payments in future fiscal years, if any, shall be controlled by such implementing ordinances as may be enacted in the future, if any.

 

 

Section 6.  This ordinance will be in effect from the date of adoption until September 1, 1993.
