DENALI BOROUGH, ALASKA

RESOLUTION NO. PC 03-02

A RESOLUTION OF THE DENALI BOROUGH PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF BOROUGH OWNED LAND.

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough Planning Commission performs the functions of planning, platting, and zoning for the borough under the Denali Borough Code of Ordinances, Title V, Chapter 34; and

WHEREAS, all borough owned land is designated Unclassified until classified under Denali Borough Code of Ordinances, Chapter 27; and

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough has Management Authority over 280 acres of land located within the E ½ excluding the SE1/4SE1/4,Township 12S, Range 8W, Section 26, known as the Otto Lake area, Healy, Alaska; and

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough Planning Commission Report No. 2003-03 Findings of Fact has shown that the majority of the written public comments are in favor of Recreational Development on this parcel near the Otto Lake area; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission shall make recommendations to the Denali Borough Assembly on matters concerning or relating to planning and zoning for the borough under Denali Borough Code of Ordinances, Title V, Chapter 34.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Denali Borough Planning Commission adopts the Findings of Fact of Report 2003-03, titled Classification of Borough Land and thereby makes its recommendation to the Denali Borough Assembly to classify the Otto Lake parcel, located within Section 26, as Recreational Development under the Denali Borough Code of Ordinances, Chapter 27.
