CALL TO ORDER Presiding Officer Gerald Pollock called the work session to order at 6:49 pm.
ROLL CALL Assembly members present were: Jim Caswell, Gerald Pollock,
Sid Michaels, Baxter Mercer, Bob Shelton, David Evans, Neal Laugman, Cynthia
Trytko and Jennifer Skinner. Mayor
Talerico was also in attendance.
1.) Ordinance 03-08, Version D, an ordinance amending the
Denali Borough Code of Ordinances, Title IV, Chapter 24, titled management of
borough real property.
MICHAELS read a section on page four regarding the rate
schedule. Discussion followed.
LAUGMAN stated that he needed to do more research and would
have it by the next meeting.
SKINNER stated that the Mayor is the administrator and is
not a certified appraiser. LAUGMAN stated the point is well taken and the
language will be cleared up.
Mayor Talerico stated that the responsibility is on the
appraiser.
SKINNER also addressed the phrase obnoxious. She stated that it is not well defined and
is subjective.
2.) Ordinance 03-17, an ordinance establishing land use
regulations to conform to requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program
and providing for an effective date.
Mayor Talerico explained that this ordinance has been to
each community and suggested that it be voted down.
ADJOURNMENT POLLOCK
