AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 1993 DENALI BOROUGH

BUDGET TO PROVIDE FOR A FUNDING GRANT TO THE

DENALI EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED by the Assembly of the Denali Borough, Alaska that:

Section 1. Classification.

This is a non-code ordinance

Section 2. Amending the Fiscal Year 1993 Budget.

The Borough Assembly shall amend the FY 1993 budget to include a

line item to provide for a grant to the Denali Emergency Medical Services. These funds shall be taken from funds acquired through the Federal Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILT) and the Telephone and Electric Co-op payments.

Section 3. Grant Usage Definition.

These funds shall used to provide vehicle and general liability

insurance for the Denali Emergency Medical Services within the Denali Borough. The amount to be funded for FY 93 is as follows:

Vehicle Liability $18,037.00

General Liability $ 6,354.00

TOTAL $24,391.00

Section 4. Application for Funding.

This grant shall be for Fiscal Year 1993 only. This grant shall be applied for on a yearly basis as these are not guaranteed funds.

Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance becomes effective upon its adoption by the Denali Borough Assembly and signature of the Mayor.
