A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ASSISTANCE FROM SENATOR MIKE MILLER

WITH THE TRI-VALLEY SUBDIVISION LAND SITUATION.

 

 

 

WHEREAS, the residents of the Healy area residing in the Tri-Valley Subdivision desire to purchase the land so they may maintain private title to their property;

 

 

AND WHEREAS, the residents desiring to sell, purchase, or improve homes built on leased Tri-Valley Subdivision land are unable to do so as financial institutions are unwilling to establish credit for homes built on leased property under this circumstance.

 

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Denali Borough Assembly requests Senator Mike Miller to create and introduce legislation for a statutory change to the Alaska Railroad Act so that the people in the Tri-Valley Subdivision and other possible areas may purchase their property rights from the government.
