DENALI BOROUGH,
RESOLUTION NO. 95-23
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING APPLICATION,
UNDER THE FISCAL YEAR 1997 MUNICIPAL CAPITAL PROJECT MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM (AS
37.06), FOR FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 2,741 FEET OF PLATTED GRAVEL ROADS OF
THE PANGUINGUE CREEK SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, Panguingue Creed
subdivision currently has inhabited structures on the lots not accessible by road;
and
WHEREAS, there are platted road right-of-ways to these lots;
and
WHEREAS, a Municipal Capital Project Matching Grant of
$63,750 with a local contribution of $11,250.00 would serve to complete this
proposed construction; and
AND WHEREAS, the Denali Borough and the communities within
it would benefit from the increase in the availability and accessibility of
housing that this road building would create.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Denali Borough Assembly
endorses the Panguingue Creek Subdivision road
construction as a second priority project for FY 1997 Capital Matching Grant
Program.
