RESOLUTION NO. 94-10

A RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT THE DENALI BOROUGH'S FY 1994 CAPITAL

MATCHING GRANTS PROJECT FOR THE FERRY COMMUNITY LAND PURCHASE.

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough is an eligible participant in the Municipal Capital Project Matching Grant Program as written in AS 37.06; and

WHEREAS, the Denali Borough has listed the Ferry Community Land Purchase as their first priority for the FY 1994 Capital Matching Grants Program; and

WHEREAS, the funding requested from the State of Alaska for this project is $13,600 and the Denali Borough commits its share of this project, $2,400, towards the purchase of this property;

AND WHEREAS, the purchase of this property from the University of Alaska is the only way for the Ferry residents to gain legal access to their private property.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Denali Borough Assembly endorses the Ferry Community Land Purchase as a first priority project for the FY 1994 Capital Matching Grants Program.
